Cheryl Edwards, MSN
Board Secretary
Cheryl Edwards, MSN, has spent her 45 year career as a nurse, almost 30 of those tears being at New England Donor Services where she is the Regional Team Lead for CT and Senior Donation Coordinator for organ transplantation. Cheryl has always had a passion for organ donation, having lost an aunt/second mom on the kidney wait list several years ago. She has had the privilege of working with donor families for nearly 30 years and is still in awe to this day that these incredible individuals trust her - a stranger- to transform the end of their loved one's life story into a miracle. So many of them have taught her so much, as she has grieved the loss of most of her family members over the years. Each family has made Cheryl a better coordinator, and she is grateful to every last one.
